Volunteers

Every year the GPW Recruitment St Helens 10K is overwhelmed with support, whether it’s spectating, marshalling, bag-packing or manning the famous GPW Recruitment Water Station.

We have a large team on the day who give up their time to help us ensure everything goes above and beyond the expectation of each runner.

The Steve Prescott Foundation rely on all those involved to make the St Helens 10K one of most sought after and best 10K running events in the UK, which cements their indispensability to us.

Our volunteers range from marshals around the course, at the start and finish line who direct runners and keeping the route safe for all our runners. We also have a team managing the bag drop inside the Totally Wicked Stadium, the volunteers providing water at the water stations and of course the spectators who provide that ‘extra gear’ when runners are tackling some of the more difficult parts of the race.
